Time for Curiosity

“The summer’s out of reach, empty lake, empty streets…” September means it’s time to go back to school and daily chores, but the Children’s Cinema Film Festival shows that it’s always Time for Curiosity! That’s the motto of the fourth festival, held between 23 September and 1 October at Pod Baranami Cinema. The programme features productions for various age groups, including Theresa Stróżyk’s delightful animation about the cheeky piglet Mullewapp and his friends. The film Solan and Ludvig: The Great Cheese Race takes the youngest viewers on breathtaking adventures with Ludvig the Magpie, while Jill and Joy’s Winter, dubbed into Polish, introduces the McTiny family. Slightly older kids meet the talented Blanka living on the streets of the capital of the Philippines and the brave Storm trying to save his father’s life. Time to satisfy your cinematic curiosity!
