Park Walk for the Small-ones and the Big-ones (0-100)

Club Multi invites parents with small children for mindful walks through nature around the Krakus Mound ( Kopiec Krakusa) in Podgórze.

The walk is facilitated especially for those parents who wish to experience the therapeutic and calming power of nature and those who wish to send their children to a kindergarten with terrain education or a forest kindergarten.

The classes introduce all participants into a deeper perception of nature through the medium of japanese technique of forest bathing : Shinrinyoku. Putting our attention towards subsequent senses: smell, touch, taste, sight and hearing we let the hyperactive parts of our brains to relax and the children tune themselves to us in their natural way.

All the participants of a Forest Bathing Walk take advantage of the therapeutic value of Shinrinyoku which are : strengthening the immune system, reducing blood pressure and stress hormone level, regulating digestion, higher concentration and better memorising – among others.

During the walk there will be stops with movement games and play, as well as mindfulness exercises and a picnic.

The walk is facilitated by Łukasz Kowalczyk, animator in Klub Multi and facilitator of Forest Bathing Walks practiced during the last two years in Wiśnicko-Lipnicki Natural Park.
