They accompanied generations of Poles while remaining the stuff of dreams for many. Cars, motorbikes, scooters… The exhibition Moto Histories presents the history of Polish motoring from the Second Polish Republic up to the 1980s. Created by acclaimed Polish 20th-century designers, the vehicles bore testament to the latest technological achievements and reflected the geopolitical situation the engineers were forced to work in. From 9 September, the dilapidated 1930s building – originally used as an air hangar and later as a bus depot – presents the most beloved and distinctive Polish classic cars. The exhibition is a real treat for all fans of vintage vehicles, and it is the last chance to visit the post-industrial shell of the building before the renovation of the latest branch of the Museum of Municipal Engineering.
