Fantastical Childhoods

Is theatre too dull, rigid and serious for kids? On the contrary: the Children’s Theatre Festival (21-25 November) shows once again that it is a perfect space for expression, energy and fantasy! And there are plenty of attractions in store, with plays including Pomelo Is in Love (Fractal Theatre), Brothers of the Northern Lights and Misty Billy (Figur Theatre Kraków), Hedgehog and Friends (Lalkarze Puppet Theatre Group) and Straszka Pospolita (Grupa Coincidentia). We will also hear the captivating Simple Story (Wrocław Puppet Theatre Theatre and LALE.Teatr) and Basia Songin’s beautiful fairytale A Ship With Wings and a Beautiful Giantess. Teatr Figurki presents Co w trawie piszczy and Malutkie królestwo królewny Aurelki. There will also be music and dance elements with Consol Theater’s Unter Storm, the English-language Pig in the Wig in Space by Pig in the Wig Theatre. But beware! There is a considerable danger of unexpected attacks of laughter. Serious parents enter at their own risk! :-)
