Unforgettable Wreaths

Woven from ears of grain, fruit-bearing branches, flowers, blooms, herbs and colourful ribbons, they express their creators’ joy at the end of the harvest. Richly decorated and including the bounty from fields and orchards, the wreaths are the central point of the Harvest Festival celebrated at Błonia Meadows (25 August). The wreaths are exhibited after the field mass inaugurating the events at 1pm. The traditional thanksgiving rites are followed by a lively party! The festival includes a fair and tastings of fresh produce and delicious bread. And of course there will be dances, concerts and outdoor film screenings. The festival brings together generations!
