After long months spent in front of computer screens, we finally have an opportunity to invite you to the 8th Asian Studies Festival - one of the biggest events on Asia in Poland prepared by the Far East Student Association of the UJ and the Middle East Student Association of the UJ! This is a unique event, which is created by the great enthusiasts of this continent, and also Africa! - students and professors of the Institute of the Middle and Far East of the Jagiellonian University and the Confucius Institute in Krakow. It promises to be a weekend full of unusual attractions, interesting lectures and fascinating workshops, all spiced up with beautiful decorations.

Do you love the cuisine of the East and Africa or have you always wondered what it's like to be a diplomat? Are you fascinated by the spirituality of the Asian people or the extraordinary history of the largest continent in the world? Or maybe your interests are focused on Eastern culture - both high and pop? All this and even more can be found at the Asian Studies Festival!

On that day, you will also be able to get acquainted with a wide range of offerings from Asian Studies. The Middle East and Far East Institute offers majors with an interdisciplinary focus that allow for a comprehensive and holistic exploration of these remarkable areas, as well as language study. Students present at the Festival will be happy to answer any questions.
