The 25th anniversary edition of the EtnoKraków / Crossroads festival (25 June, 2–9 July) welcomes around 100 artists from three continents, appearing at 20 concerts.

Celebrations of the shortest night of the year culminate with a dawn concert, which also serves as a prologue of the festival. Jordana Park presents unplugged performances by Ola Bilińska and the Kriščiūnaitė sisters, Joanna Słowińska with the Dola ensemble, the Śpiewu Przyczyna vocal ensemble and Iryna Klymenko & Babsky Kozachok.

The main part of the programme opens at the courtyard of Radio Kraków with a performance by Maria Pomianowska and Mingjie Yu, authors of the Polish/Chinese project Silk & Amber. The festival stage at Hevre resounds with Paweł Klimczak (Naphta) with his project Sorrow and the Kurdish singer and instrumentalist Ruşan Filiztek, while the cellar of Alchemia club presents a performance by Chvost joined by Wassim Ibrahim and the ethnoelectro night.

The large stage at the courtyard of Forty Kleparz presents music from the Balkans (Sokół Orchestra), southern Italy (Claudio Cavallo Giagnotti with Mascarimiri) and captivating afrobeat from Ghana (FRA!), while the Kocie Uszy stage presents a song night with Iryna Klymenko and the Babsky Kozachok ensemble, and the workshop group of Joanna Słowińska and the Łada ensemble. Dance night features the Odpoczno ensemble, the Garnitur Polski orchestra led by Maria Stępień, and trad music bands from Kraków Dance House.

The festival culminates with the Kukurba-Słowiński Project at the courtyard of Radio Kraków and performances on the Inspirations stage of the Małopolska Garden of Arts, where Joanna Słowińska & Stanisław Słowiński Quartet present their project Wood, Home and Table, Trebunie-Tutki showcase their programme Across Borders, while Ola Bilińska’s group Badabag perform material from their album Sulinys. As well as concerts, the festival programme features music and traditional craft workshops, meetings, film screenings and a vernissage of artworks by Władysław Trebunia-Tutka.
