Jerzmanowskich Park

ul. Wielicka

Standing in park grounds in the Bieżanów–Prokocim District is a 19th century mansion built in the classicist style and remodelled in eclectic fashion, and the Augustine Park Chapel.

The Anna and Erazm Jerzmanowski Society of Friends of Prokocim was established in 1989 to disseminate information about the history of Prokocim and to protect the mansion and park complex. Today, the park is in the middle of stock-taking while its stands of historic trees are being restored. After the gales of 1998 which uprooted 12 ancient trees in Prokocim alone, this has become an important issue. Standing in the park are English oak, common beech, and London plane trees which are listed natural monuments.
