The Museum Night in Kraków is hundreds of events of night-time visits and special events, held at dozens of museums and their branches throughout the city.
The 19th Museum Night in Kraków opens at Wawel Castle, and spreads to dozens of museums all over the city. Nighttime visitors attend events exploring themes of writing and transfer of information, recalling 550 years of the printing press in Poland. It is widely believed that the first printed document was the wall calendar Almanach Cracoviense ad annum 1474 printed in 1473; the only surviving page is kept at the Jagiellonian Library.
