It is Christmas Eve. Family and friends have gathered in the parlour to decorate the beautiful Christmas tree in preparation for the party. Once the tree is finished, the children are sent for. They stand in awe of the tree sparkling with candles and decorations. The party grows festive with music and dance as godfather Drosselmeyer arrives. He is a skilled clock and toy maker and always full of surprises. He gives little Clara a beautiful Nutcracker that becomes the hit of the party. The toy, as well as the night, turn out to be magical. As the clock strikes midnight, strange things begin to happen...

The magical ballet Nutcracker composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky takes us to the land of the fairy tales, land of beautiful dance and music. One of the most popular ballet piece is presented on the stage of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre by the artists of the Ukrainian Classical Ballet.
