The Christmas Fair is a fabulous continuation of a pre-war tradition. Once again, the Main Market Square welcomes traders presenting hand-made Christmas decorations, jewellery and regional delicacies.

Decorating Kraków for Christmas culminates on 25 November with the lighting of candles on the Christmas tree at the Main Market Square. The event coincides with the opening of the Christmas Fair. Until 26 December, the Main Market Square is filled with the sound of carols and the fragrance of spices, reminding us that Christmas is almost here. Kids can join the plans to smash the world record in writing letters to Santa, watch a procession of Santas and the Małopolska Carolling Pageant. The fair closes with the crowds coming together to sing carols by the Adam Mickiewicz statue.
