CHANGE OF LOCATION! THE FAIR WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE WYSPIAŃSKI PAVILION
Celebrating World Book Day, Kraków UNESCO City of Literature hosts the Kraków Book Fair (22-23 April). The Wyspiański Pavilion provides the perfect setting for local second-hand book dealers. The event also features meetings, demonstrations and workshops – participants will learn how to operate an original copier used by the opposition to print illegal materials during the 1980s, draw comic strips and bind art notebooks. There will be readings of fairytales, a presentation of rare publications and a tour of second-hand book stores. The Krakow Festival Office, organiser of the fair, also encourages participants to attend open days at the nearby Cervantes Institute and events held as part of the nationwide Small Bookshop Weekend. Book readers live dual lives – so let’s go on a literary adventure!
