A centre of early culture takes anchor at the foot of Wawel Hill between 16 and 18 June. The Festival on the Wave – River of Passion at the Czerwieński Boulevard presents a replica of a 15th-century boat as used to defeat Teutonic Knights during the Battle of Vistula Lagoon. There will also be a pirate-themed outdoor game, arts and crafts workshops, archery competition and sword duels.
