Kraków is invaded by creatures with a folk provenance. Like the legendary Wawel dragon, they will settle by the water – not the Vistula River, though, but the Kryspinów Reservoir, near the Kraków airport, with great views over metallic bird aeroplanes. The creatures are also metallic – and legendary: the cult Volkswagen beetles are literally folk vehicles.

The 17th Garbojama Beetle Rally brings demonstrations and competitions during which proud owners of the little cars show off their knowledge of their automobiles, their skills, imagination… and blind love, when they repair their bugs while blindfolded. The stage welcomes VODA, Egzotyczny Dandys Paryskich Bulwarów, Uwaga na Jeże czy Banau. On Saturday 15 July, the bugs swarm Kraków’s streets to arrive at the Aviation Museum around noon. It will be another legendary rally!
