MINIencounters with art are cyclical classes that took place in the historic rooms of the ICC before the pandemic. If you would like to come back to the idea of workshops focusing on one concept related to the world around us, art, architecture and design, we invite you to take part in online meetings.

The theme of the first MINIencounters with art in a new, virtual form will be COSMOS. Can you enclose an entire galaxy in a jar? We have proof that it is possible. During the next workshop, we will explain the difference between the galaxy and the solar system, tell about the milky way, what the sun is and why our space in a jar is called a nebula. To watch the workshops, visit the ICC Facebook profile on Sunday, November 8 at 12.30.

The classes will be conducted by Marcin Krotla - ICC educator, student of art history at the Jagiellonian University.

To make your own space, you will need: a small jar, cotton wool, paints (mainly pink and navy blue), glitter, ribbon, water.
