Colours - how human they are. As people, we see the world in all the colours of the rainbow, and this inspires us to draw, paint and create! During the third week of the holidays, we will discover what it means to live colourfully - decorating the trees in multi-coloured materials, and creating jewellery from nature's gifts.

To the Colourful Day Camp we invite all children aged 4-12 years, who like handicraft, playing outdoors, exploring, creating and learning though experience. At our forest base in Zakrzówek, we will have fun with colours every day: drawing, painting, creating, decorating... As we will spend this time in the forest, in harmony with and drawing inspiration from nature, we will do so in the spirit of ecology and zero waste. With an English teacher and a native speaker present, English will be openly used in the activities.

Typical day plan:

• 9.00 - 10.00 Children arrive at the base, time for free play
• 10.00 - 10.30 Second breakfast (brought from home)
• 10.30-13.30 Organised activities (e.g. outdoor games, handicraft workshops, art classes based on the topic of the week)
• 13.30 - 14.00 Lunch (catering, on one day cooked on the camp fire)
• 14.00 - 17.00 Free play

Times are given as a guideline.

Where?

Our base is fenced. We have a Mongolian yurt, where we can get out of the rain, we have sanitary facilities inside our caravan, a forest playground, a space for the camp fire. We also have an equipped wood workshop and a vegetable and herb garden.

Discovery companions:

Anita - Nature educator and English teacher; experiences, observes and recognises nature, including English language

Agnieszka - Organic farmer, creates our garden in the spirit of permaculture

Mateusz - MateMatik - undercover architect, who is a graphic designer, he also deals with handicrafts, mathematics and the garden (I wonder what else he'll come up with?)

Karolina - Joiner; understands many interesting tools and will teach you how to use them

Simon - a native speaker from England, who loves nature and hates being stuck indoors

Prices (5 days):

• 9.00 - 13.30 400zł (4.5h/day, without lunch)
• 9.00 - 17.00 650zł (8h/day)

The full day price includes catering for lunch, and one day cooking on the camp fire

The groups are limited, and will allow a maximum of 15 children

Every day, there will be a minimum of 2 guardians from our team, to oversee the children and lead classes.
