During the opening ceremony of the Kraków-Malopolska 2023 European Games, following the example of the Olympic Games, we will see representatives of 48 national teams from the Old Continent in a march at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium.

During the opening of the biggest multidisciplinary event in Poland's history, there will also be a musical setting. On Wednesday 21 June, the stars will include Polish artists of the young generation - Tribbs and Roxie Węgiel, as well as the Ukrainian hip hop band Kalush. All have experience from the biggest song contest - Eurovision. Kalush triumphed a year ago and RoxieWęgiel won the children's Eurovision. Tribbs, on the other hand, wrote the music and was a special guest at this year's contest.

The organisers have also planned artistic performances with dance groups and special effects using modern technology. A highlight will be the lighting of the torch with the flame of peace, which reached Krakow in a relay from Rome.
